Saturday, July 11, 2026 – 9:30 AM Departure of the participants of the Cinquecento Meeting to the Traunsee-Almtal region in the Salzkammergut!

Here’s how to get to the Italian Night in Vorchdorf in the Almtal:

We recommend traveling by public transport!
Extended travel times on the Traunseetram and Vorchdorferbahn!
In cooperation with OÖVV and Stern & Hafferl, the Traunsee-Almtal tourism association, along with the local groups from Vorchdorf and Gmunden, has made this mobility offer possible! The current OÖVV rates apply!

By train:
Via Wels station to Lambach station, then take the Vorchdorferbahn (Line 160) or from Gmunden with the Traunseetram (Line 161) from Stern & Hafferl to Vorchdorf Eggenberg.
Numerous connections from Wels station to the main traffic trains on the Westbahn line (Line 101) or via Gmunden to the Salzkammergutbahn towards Bad Ischl, Hallstatt, and Bad Aussee with the Salzkammergut Shuttle Service Route 70 from Scharnstein station via Pettenbach or Route 80 from Almspitz to the Vorchdorf station stop. Please call and order at least 1 hour in advance at the taxi central number 050-422 422.

By bike:
From Gmunden, Bad Wimsbach, Pettenbach, or Laakirchen, you can easily reach Vorchdorf via beautiful side roads and partially bike paths.

By car:
Westautobahn A1: Vienna - Voralpenkreuz-A1 - Exit A1 Vorchdorf
Westautobahn A1: Munich - Salzburg - Exit A1 Vorchdorf
Innkreisautobahn A8 Passau - Wels - Voralpenkreuz A1 - Exit A1 Vorchdorf

Parking available in the town center
(Schwarzelmüller parking lot), next to the event area of the Kitzmantelfabrik and at Vorchdorf station. (all close to the route!)
