"Streetfood Salzkammergut" is once again bringing a premium street food market of the highest class to the town square this year. Over 100 different delicacies from the best food trucks from Austria and abroad will be served directly to the guests' hands. In addition to the best street food artists from previous years, internationally selected top trucks will also be present. You can look forward to burgers, Himalayan momos, curly fries, Indian cuisine, pitas, churros, Baumkuchen, crêpes, ice cream, frozen yogurt, slushies, waffles, poffertjes, street fries, curry, fried noodles, Thai food, and much more. We recommend traveling by public transport!
By train:
Via the Attnang-Puchheim train station on the Salzkammergut railway (line 170) to Gmunden station, from Gmunden station take the Traunseetram (line 161) from Stern & Hafferl to the Gmunden Rathausplatz stop, also accessible from Vorchdorf Eggenberg or Gmunden Engelhof (Park & Ride). The stop is in the immediate vicinity. Numerous connections from Attnang-Puchheim station to the main traffic trains on the Westbahn line (line 101) or via Gmunden to the Salzkammergut railway towards Bad Ischl, Hallstatt, and Bad Aussee.
By bus:
OÖVV bus lines 507, 505, or 533 as well as city bus lines from Gmunden, stop Gmunden Rathausplatz.
By bicycle:
The Streetfood Festival Gmunden is also very easily accessible by bike. The Traunvierteltour as well as the R4 Traunradweg and R2 Salzkammergutradweg pass directly by the town square or the Traun bridge, about 200 meters away.
By car:
Westautobahn A1: From Munich/Salzburg or Vienna/Linz - exit A1 Regau - B145 to Gmunden, also coming from Bad Ischl on the B145 - directly into the city center.
