Wine from Graz was not uncommon in the 19th century. The Kehlberg around Schloss St. Martin was a popular excursion destination with numerous wine taverns serving their own wine. When the last wine tavern closed its doors in 1967, wine production in Graz fell silent. In 2013, the southern Styrian winemaker Hannes Sabathi revived this old tradition, replanted the historic vineyards, and has since been producing the Graz city wine FALTER EGO. Duration: Tour approximately 120 minutes, followed by a wine tasting of about 60 minutes.
