Because while water, hops and malt are mashed, lautered and boiled to produce the tasty and refreshing barley juice in around 6 hours, there is plenty of time to quench your thirst for knowledge about beer. Naturally, beer will be drunk during the course with a hearty snack. Whether you prefer to follow the lecture sober, serious about beer or more relaxed is ultimately up to you.
