Exploring the Fischach with a SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboard)

During the summer holidays, there is an opportunity to participate in guided SUP tours on the Fischach every Saturday. SUP guide Alex provides board equipment, gives a brief introduction to paddling technique, and accompanies the tour on the Fischach with interesting information about the region, flora, and fauna. The Fischach springs directly from the Wallersee and is also its only outlet. The SUP tour starts at the Seekirchen beach and goes downstream (towards the city harbor in Seekirchen). Please note that the entire length to the city harbor is not covered during the tour!

Every Saturday during the summer holidays: July 11 | July 18 | July 25 | August 1 | August 8 | August 15 | August 22 | August 29 | September 5 | September 12, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Meeting point 10 minutes before the start at the Seekirchen beach: behind the Seecafé near the camping toilets. 2-6 participants. Cost per person: €35. Free with the Seenland Card.

Getting there: by public transport - train to Seekirchen station, from there it is a 10-15 minute walk to the Seekirchen beach. By car - parking at Seekirchen beach. *Free parking with the Seenland Card or a free parking ticket for the morning.

SUP rental & boards: the equipment is provided by SUP guide Alex - but you are also welcome to bring your own board.

Information: Basic knowledge (4 basic strokes) is advantageous. Anyone who wants to participate in the SUP tour but does not yet master the four basic strokes should attend a beginner's course beforehand. You will receive a 10% discount with Alex from Stand Up Paddle Salzburg. From age 12 (children under 12 can ride on their parents' board). The SUP tour will not take place in heavy rain!

Notes: The riverbanks are natural habitats for nesting ducks and swans. "Stand-Up-Paddling - like walking on water, ONLY BETTER!"
