TOURDATA
Schernbergstraße 7, 5550 Radstadt
In the heart of the historic town, a very personal Christmas market adorns the winter landscape during the holiday season. On each of the Advent weekends, as well as on the weekend between Christmas and New Year's Eve, the town immerses itself deeply in the magic of Christmas. It's just perfect for setting aside the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle and browsing through the many lovingly decorated Christmas stalls. The range of goods is unique. The exhibitors showcase regional handicrafts, knitted and crocheted items, jewelry, and many predominantly homemade products. Regional delicacies are also well represented: from Pongau cured ham to various hard sausages, homemade bread, or locally distilled schnapps, it's definitely worth picking up a few souvenirs. Of course, there is also plenty of food available on-site. A hot mulled wine or tea in the cold season, along with authentic Pongau "Blattlkrapfen," along with many other specialties, provide a cozy warmth from within. Various Swedish stoves and campfires, where children often gather to grill sausages and "draw fairy tales," as the locals call it, create an incomparable atmosphere. The many musical performances make a visit to the Radstadt Christmas market an unforgettable experience. In Radstadt, children are the center of attention: they can fully enjoy the pre-Christmas season with candle making, cookie baking, Christmas crafts, or a ride in a horse-drawn carriage. Dates:
