OUT! – Trapped in the Net

After her school transfer, Vicky is bullied by her new class. At first, everyone avoids her, then suddenly her phone goes missing at a class party. Shortly after, intimate photos of her appear on the internet, followed by an embarrassing fake profile. Vicky's parents are shocked, but when her father confronts the entire class, he only makes things much worse...

Vicky's tragic story - told from the perspective of her brother Dominik - highlights the devastating effects of cyberbullying through an extreme case. While this currently rampant form of violence is just a click away from the classic bullying that has always existed, the consequences and dimensions surpass all boundaries. With the constant availability of social networks, instant messengers, smartphones, etc., bullying can happen around the clock. This means that anyone can be affected and everyone can be tempted to participate.

Degrading content and images spread uncontrollably and never fully disappear. This production aims to highlight this issue and advocate for the power of "face-to-face" interactions.
