Unique and full of experiences: The Niglo parade on December 5th is celebrated only in Windischgarsten and has a long history.
It's no wonder that it has been declared an intangible cultural heritage of Austria by UNESCO! Unlike many other Krampus and Perchten runs, the focus here is not on the evil devil, but on the good represented by Saint Nicholas. The event is organized by the local traditional costume association, which has made it its mission to pass on this special custom from generation to generation. Mulled wine stand open from 5 PM to 9 PM.

Windischgarsten train station - 10 minutes on foot to the Niglo parade.
