Unique form of the Perchten run in the Raurisertal: The Schnabelperchten go from house to house on January 5th, making loud "Ga Ga Ga" sounds. Schnabelperchten are Perchten with long beaks, cardigans, and aprons, equipped with a hunchback basket, a large pair of scissors, and a broom to check the cleanliness of the households in Rauris. They bring luck and health for the coming year.
