TOURDATA

Am Wur 7, 4582 Spital am Pyhrn

An evening full of extraordinary atmosphereIt is almost daylight, the trees cast long shadows, snow crystals glisten like glass beads. In the glow of the full moon, we make our tracks on open spaces, over the ridges of hills and along snow-covered hedges. We enjoy snowshoeing through untouched deep snow. The unobstructed view of the Windischgarsten basin and the surrounding mountain ranges in this light is unusual and fascinating. We also learn a lot of interesting facts about the moon itself. And to round off our tour, we treat ourselves to a cosy stop for refreshments.

Included services: Guided snowshoe hike Professional supervision by qualified snowshoe hiking guides and outdoor trainers Lots of information about hiking in winter Snowshoe hire equipment, poles, gaiters Information about the moon and its properties Not included:Transfer costs Additional services (drinks, food, accommodation, etc.)

Equipment hire: incl. hire of snowshoes and poles

Opening hours: 19 - 21:30

Note: Dress warmly, but in several layers according to the "onion-skin principle". A hat and gloves will keep you warm in those parts of the body where most of the heat is otherwise lost. Sun and cold protection for all exposed parts of the body (face, nose, ears). Good sunglasses are particularly important in winter! If possible, waterproof but breathable shoes with good insulation: mountain boots or winter boots with good grip are suitable. Pack enough to drink, as the loss of fluids is enormous during strenuous activities. Insulated drinking systems make it particularly easy to drink on the move.
