Organ Concert on National Holiday
The festival organ by Johann Freundt (1642) in the Stiftsbasilika Klosterneuburg is considered one of the largest and most significant historical organs in Central Europe due to its outstanding sound.

ORGAN CONCERT IN ADVENT
With Michel and Yasuko Bouvard, a very special musical couple, we conclude our organ concert season at the festival organ. Michel was a professor for decades at the Conservatoire national supérieur de Paris, which is arguably the most renowned French institution for training young musicians. He is also the titular organist at the famous Cavaillé-Coll organ of St-Sernin in Toulouse and one of the four organists at the Chapel of Versailles. His wife Yasuko is equally at home on the organ as she is on the harpsichord and fortepiano. As a duo, they perform internationally and present highlights of works for four-handed and four-footed organ. Exquisite French sounds just before Christmas, counteracting the dark and cold season.
