When the tranquility of winter settles over South Styria, one might get the impression at first glance that time stands still here. But don’t worry – there’s actually a lot happening in South Styria during the winter. In the cellars of the wineries, work continues in the cold months following the grape harvest, as the new vintage needs to be created and requires a lot of attention from the winemakers and their helpers. The family business is located in Seggauberg, right next to the pilgrimage church of Frauenberg, where the winery, tasting room, and sales are situated. Visitors can not only taste excellent wines and schnapps specialties, as well as enjoy a hearty snack in the lovingly designed Buschenschank, but they can also take in the unique view of the wine town of Leibnitz.
