Hausruck Philharmonie
The Hausruck Philharmonie was founded in 1983 by the then director of the music school and later state music school director, flutist Helmut Trawöger. His goal was to revive the old tradition of string orchestras in a region predominantly characterized by brass music. Since then, the ensemble has become well-known far beyond the district borders through over 150 concerts in Austria and neighboring countries at festivals, with demanding interpretations from Baroque to modern. Renowned (inter)national soloists highly appreciate the orchestra and are always happy to perform as guests.

Eva Kögler
Eva Kögler, born in 2001, began her cello lessons at the LMS Thalheim at the age of five with Judith Bik. She was accepted into the Junior Academy of Upper Austria and switched to Andreas Pözlberger in 2014. From 2015, she began her preparatory course at the Anton Bruckner Private University, where she will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts with honors in 2024. She attended masterclasses with Georg Baich, Laslo Mezö, Rudolf Leopold, and Hannah Roberts. She gained solo experience with orchestras in 2017 during the performance of the Cello Double Concerto by Walter Kögler, played the Haydn D major concerto with the Attnang-Puchheim Chamber Orchestra in 2021, and Dvořák's Cello Concerto with the Wels Symphony Orchestra in 2023. Eva is a multiple prize winner at the state competition Prima la Musica, won the 2021 promotion award from the Lions Club Nibelungen, and the 2023 "Prix talentis" from the Kiwanis Club Wels.
