Sunset Tasting with Horst Schuckert

The "Sunset Tasting" begins at the Kellerstöckl estate with a short tour of the wine cellar and the wine production site. Together with winemaker Horst Schuckert, you will walk across meadows, fields and gentle hills - right through the vineyards - to one of the most beautiful cellar alleys in the Weinviertel, the Alte Geringen. During the approx. 3 km long hike, Horst Schuckert will tell you about the origins and development of viticulture in the Weinviertel before you reach your destination together. Between old wine cellars and vineyards, you will be spoilt with regional delicacies and delicious wines. As an impressive finale, enjoy the sunset over a campfire before heading back to the Kellerstöckl estate by torchlight.

Bad weather programme:
Should the liquid sunshine (i.e. rain) put a spanner in the works, then after the tour of the grape processing plant we will travel to Poysdorf. The wine tasting continues in the shade of the imposing fortified church, in a dreamy garden with a pergola.
