Full Moon and Sunrise Hikes

Experience the magic of the mountain, where night and day come together.

We will take the Schneebergbahn to the mountain station. After that, we will leisurely hike past the Damböckhaus over the Ochsenboden to the Fischerhütte. After dinner (not included in the price), we will settle into our sleeping places. At moonrise, we will hike to the summit cross and back. The next morning, we will experience the sunrise from the terrace of the Fischerhütte and descend after breakfast along the cogwheel railway hiking path to Puchberg.

Meeting point at 2:00 PM at the tourism portal in Puchberg train station
Ascent with the Schneebergbahn at 2:30 PM.
Hike on the Schneeberg plateau to the Fischerhütte takes about 1.5 hours
Dinner (not included in the price), overnight stay at the Fischerhütte
Full moon hike to the summit cross and back takes about 1 hour
Sunrise on the terrace of the Fischerhütte
Descent via the cogwheel railway hiking path to Puchberg – approximately 4 hours of hiking
