The Funny Door - Jungle Vienna

Mila actually just wanted to quickly grab a new string for her kite. But in the attic, she encounters a rather peculiar door. Not only can it talk, but it also has a special secret: every time you open it, something new appears on the other side. It can lead to a room, but also to a forest, a fairground, another planet, the desert, or into the water. Unfortunately, the door cannot decide for itself where it leads or which people and creatures appear behind it. That’s why it has been banished to the attic. However, Mila understands. Because she too sometimes has emotional outbursts that come out of nowhere and that she cannot always control. And so, a shared adventure begins. With plenty of theatrical magic, imaginative play, and dialogues and songs that are both fun and poetic, colorful worlds, quirky characters, and new friendships come to life in a short time. After "The Magic Flute" at the Burgtheater, director and composer Nils Strunk and author Lukas Schrenk are now taking on a musical play for everyone aged 4 and up.
