We look forward to many helping hands in June 2026. This year, the care of the orchard meadow on Feihlerhöhe is once again on our agenda to contribute together to the preservation of biodiversity!
Mowing with a hand scythe saves about 80% of the insects living in an orchard meadow/in the garden and can be used much more efficiently, especially in rougher areas compared to a lawn mower. The course will teach the proper handling and sharpening of the scythe, as well as perfecting the correct body posture when using the hand scythe.
Please bring work gloves. The materials and refreshments will be provided by the organizing team; personal scythes can be brought along, and sharpening is possible.
