International Dog Show

When everything revolves around four-legged friends at Schwarzlsee in May, it’s time for the International Dog Shows in Premstätten again. On May 9 and 10, 2026, the Schwarzl Leisure Center in Premstätten, Styria, will transform into a meeting point for breeders, dog sports enthusiasts, and all those who simply love dogs. More than 200 dog breeds will be on display each day. Large and small, fluffy and short-haired, well-known family dogs and rare breeds from many countries. In the rings, the animals showcase their typical appearance, temperament, and movement. Expert judges evaluate according to international standards.

A small world of its own develops around the competitions. Conversations at the edge of the ring, curious glances into the preparation tent, the tense waiting before the decision. The Schwarzl Leisure Center offers plenty of space and a relaxed atmosphere, just a few minutes from Graz. The International Dog Shows in Premstätten are a fixed date in the event calendar of the Graz Experience Region. They combine competition with connection and make Premstätten in Styria the center of the dog scene for two days. An outing that can be nicely combined with a walk around the lake.
