Get your reindeer guide certificate! The good news upfront: You don't have to travel to Lapland to experience the fascination of reindeer up close. At the end of the Hessian wildlife park Sababurg, you will come across the Lapland camp "Björkträsk." Surrounded by nomadic tents and sitting on fur, you will learn everything about reindeer by the campfire. After an introduction to handling the Nordic deer, you will harness them and begin your tour. You will take the lead in guiding the reindeer through the forest landscape of the wildlife park. Back at the Lapland camp, you will feed the reindeer and receive a reindeer guide certificate as a memento of the special hours spent. Afterwards, you can also explore the rest of the wildlife park and, for example, visit the impressive bird of prey show. Follow in the footsteps of Santa Claus.
