Foal Experience Days

At the Lipizzaner Stud Piber in West Styria, the Foal Experience offers special insights into the world of young horses. On selected days in spring, including March 21, April 2, April 6, April 25, and May 25, interested visitors can witness how the youngest Lipizzaner foals grow up at the stud and the paths they take from day one. Visitors will learn interesting facts about the birth, growth, and development of the foals and have the opportunity to see the offspring of the famous white Baroque horses up close. The Foal Experience takes place as part of the season at the Lipizzaner Stud Piber and complements the visit to the historic stud, which has been known for decades as the birthplace and nursery of the Lipizzaners. In addition to the Foal Experience, other offerings at the stud invite guests to learn more about the traditional breeding and care of this iconic horse breed. Additional experiences include guided stud tours that present the entire stud operation and its history, as well as combinable visits to the extensive grounds and stables. The Foal Experience is particularly suitable for families, horse lovers, and anyone looking to enjoy an active, nature-oriented outing in one of the oldest breeding facilities for Lipizzaners. The Piber Stud is a central part of the Lipizzaner tradition in the Graz Experience Region and is also a vibrant place where the next generation of the world-famous horses is raised.
