By allowing their child to become what they have set their mind to. This child is now 62 years old and has been directing the Linz State Theatre as its artistic director since 2016. Hermann Schneider was born in 1962 in Cologne. He studied German studies, philosophy, music, and theater science in Munich and Tübingen. From 1987, he worked as a stage manager and directing assistant in Aachen, and after stops in Eisenach, Düsseldorf, and Würzburg, he arrived in Linz. He writes opera libretti and has directed more than 70 stage productions. Few people know better what theater can be used for.
