The Danube FESTIVAL WEEKS in the Strudengau open new spaces for early music and new encounters from July 24 to August 15, 2026. Under the direction of Johannes Hiemetsberger, music, spaces, and people are at the center – with artist residencies that transform the region into a creative playground for new program concepts and distinctive narratives. The highlight is an extraordinary "Bach Opera" at Greinburg Castle, which connects baroque music with current questions of our time.
