Summer Festival - Aniada a Noar

When traditional sounds meet musical diversity in Ligist, Aniada a Noar takes the stage at the Schilcherhof. On September 5th, the summer festival in the Lipizzaner homeland will be a special occasion: the celebration of the anniversary "Noan Freiheit" – more than four decades of lived music history.

Aniada a Noar has been one of the defining groups of "Neue Volksmusik" (New Folk Music) for many years. Their approach is open and curious. Local sounds form the foundation, but new musical spaces continually open up. Influences from around the world flow in and combine to create a sound that feels familiar yet surprises at the same time.

Together with Gstättner & Heckel, a soundscape emerges that can be both calm and powerful. Sometimes delicate melodies take center stage, while at other times rhythmic passages carry the evening. The music evolves step by step, taking the audience on a journey through different moods.

The Schilcherhof in Ligist provides the perfect setting for this. Nestled in the landscape of Styria, in the heart of the Graz experience region, an atmosphere is created that makes this music particularly impactful. A place where tradition and openness come together.
