Family Day - Alpaca Hiking with Gold & Gemstone Searching

Together with our alpacas and the llama Rocky, we embark on a special nature adventure along the green Salzach River. Like real gold miners, we keep an eye out for gold and sparkling stones. At the crystal-clear mountain stream, we take a cozy break and roast marshmallows. Any treasures we find can of course be kept. A special thanks goes to our host Klaus Vogel and his family, who, as generous supporters of our alpacas, make this unique location and access to nature in Zell am See-Kaprun possible.
Meeting point: Landgut Edelweiss, Schlossstraße 75, 5710 Kaprun
Duration: approx. 3.5 hours
What to bring: A small snack, water bottle, weatherproof clothing, sports shoes. For toddlers, we recommend a backpack carrier or a stroller with large wheels. Two adults per family can participate free of charge on Family Day.
Directions to the meeting point: Parking is directly at the alpaca pasture. After about 50 meters at the fork in the path, keep left (mountain side). Direct access to the private courtyard of Gut Edelweiß is not permitted.
Registration deadline: 6:00 PM the day before.
