HANDS UP - Erlebnis Stille

HANDS UP is an interactive experience exhibition that gently and humorously takes visitors on an exciting journey into the world of silence. Guided by deaf instructors, this journey explores the beauty of sign languages and the practice of nonverbal communication. The aim of this journey is to reduce fears of contact with deaf people in a safe meeting space and to build bridges between the world of the hearing and the deaf.

- How does it feel to hear nothing?
- What barriers exist?
- How can one communicate even if they do not speak the same language?
- What do facial expressions and body language convey?
- Why is sign language not international?
