Symphony in the Cloister Courtyard

Experience an unforgettable concert with the Nijmegen Student Orchestra Collegium Musicum Carolinum in the idyllic courtyard of the Dürnstein Abbey. The symphony orchestra consists of (former) students from Radboud University and the University of Applied Sciences Arnhem and Nijmegen. Thanks to the inspiring leadership of conductor Pim Cuijpers and the musical enthusiasm of its members, the orchestra is able to perform a wide variety of works. On this evening, Grieg's Symphonic Dances (Part 1) and Svendsen's Symphony No. 2 will be performed. An unforgettable cultural evening awaits you in the picturesque Wachau. In case of bad weather, the event will take place in the Abbey Church.
