The Austrian songwriter Ludwig Hirsch would have turned 80 this year.
He shaped the history of Austropop with his unforgettable songs. Since his legendary debut album "Dunkelgraue Lieder" (1978) featuring classics like "Die Omama," "Spuck den Schnuller aus," "Der Herr Haslinger," "I lieg am Ruckn," and the great legacy of "Komm großer schwarzer Vogel," Ludwig Hirsch remains deeply embedded in the consciousness of his fans and companions.
His longtime companion, bandleader, and guitarist Johnny Bertl guarantees the familiar Hirsch live sound with his fantastic band. Together with Felix Kramer, Jo Bertl, and Wolf Bachofner, they pay tribute to the incomparable Ludwig Hirsch, dedicating this special evening to the work of the greatest Austrian songwriter of our time.
