There are nearly a million different species. They come in all sorts of shapes and colors. Many of them live hidden – underneath. Under the tree bark, under stones, and under our feet. They crawl, dig, and slither. They are super strong, super fast, and super intelligent. Insects – the smallest and most diverse class that inhabits our planet. We explore their cohesion and their interactions. We transform into ants living in huge colonies, dance like bees, scurry like earthworms, and imitate the shield formations of firebugs. How does one make themselves heard, and how many little ones does it take to be big? What does it mean to be part of a group, and how does it feel when you don't belong? Who am I in the group and who am I without it? And what happens when an ant walks backward?
