"There must always be fools, but there will always be more!" (Gustl Bayrhammer in "Meister Eder & sein Pumuckl") You encounter them everywhere: the idiots who drive you to despair and quiet rage. There are the slow-witted ones in hotlines, the clueless ones in doctors' offices, the thick-headed bureaucrats, and not to mention politicians who spew so much absurd nonsense (and do) that you have to stop shaking your head to avoid damaging your brain. Unqualified information, mental immaturity, grumpy individuals, mindless time-wasters, ignoramuses, arrogant people, smug know-it-alls... "The main reason for stress is daily interaction with idiots," said Albert Einstein. And stress has indeed mutated into a common ailment these days... It could really be different, couldn't it?! Certainly. But for that, one would have to open their eyes. Their own and those of others. And when one then sees the foolish dilettante within themselves in the mirror, the time comes for true greatness with the realization: "I know that I know nothing." But one thing is certain: AVANTI DILETTANTI! The press writes: "What makes watching and listening to Lisa Fitz so enjoyable is: first, her masterful art of sharpening messages while remaining absolutely clean in dialect; second, the time-saving straightforwardness and brevity of her thoughts; third, her ability to analyze with razor-sharp precision and serve the result as carpaccio – raw, but tasty; and fourth, her unbridled energy from the first to the last minute. She is so far ahead of those she takes on that one can rightly call her the 'Tina Turner of Bavarian satire.' Because singing, as she proves on this evening, she can do as well and as captivatingly as ever. Stormy applause with a mental embrace is worth it for her." (Süddeutsche Zeitung, 2015) "That her jokes would not be whispered was something one could anticipate: Like an earthquake, Lisa Fitz roared through the community center, brushing against all clichés and superficialities of the time with her new program 'Whisper Joke,' raging and dishing out, singing, provoking, parodying, and reciting, making it a true spectacle and intellectually challenging joy. In the end, the equally authentic and ageless exceptional cabaret artist received the well-deserved standing ovations from the audience." (Wetterauer Zeitung, 2020)
