Johann Holtrop, a Machiavellian mover and shaker, presides as the chairman of a media conglomerate with over 80,000 employees worldwide and a balance sheet total of 15 billion euros. Holtrop lives in the delusion of absolute presence: his ego and charisma crush everything that stands in his way – until his meteoric career comes to an abrupt end.

Eight actresses and a live band narrate in this rhythmically driving production the rise and fall of a manager, the political upheavals of the 2000s, and not least, male leadership and greed-driven power dynamics.
