… I have rarely heard so many people laugh so heartily! (Organizer)… it was madness in the positive sense, my husband and I had 2 joyful hours and today we have sore muscles from laughing. (Audience member) Puberty is tough. Sure. But not as tough as: old-age puberty! Old-age pubescents love peace, hiking, the word "earlier," and seated pop concerts. Male old-age pubescents squeeze their round over-40 bodies into wetsuits and start a kitesurfing course. Or they aspire to a marathon career. Female old-age pubescents like to escape into spirituality and want to "rediscover themselves." They attend yoga classes and walk the Camino de Santiago, they want to spice up their sex lives or make jam. Sounds frightening? It is. But above all, it’s very, very funny ... A small consolation: old-age pubescents are the largest demographic group in Europe. You are not alone. Texts: Maxim Leo & Jochen Gutsch Adaptation, Contributions: Edi Jäger Audience & Press Feedback: … the premiere of "Es ist nur eine Phase, Hase" was fantastic and Edi Jäger was simply stunning. An absolute riot. The award-winning bestselling duo Maxim Leo & Jochen Gutsch has created a small masterpiece with "Es ist nur eine Phase, Hase" in my view. "Es ist nur eine Phase, Hase" is one of the funniest programs of the year for me. Here he is again! The hunter of the long-lost humor, the prince of stand-up comedy … the audience was once again in stitches. Laughter was allowed … For two hours, he bombarded the predominantly over-40 audience with a staccato of punchlines. There was no escape. … they stared at a furious Jäger. What fun. The guests ensured two sold-out performances and experienced a completely unleashed Edi Jäger in top form. In "Es ist nur eine Phase, Hase," there is not a single quiet minute. … Jäger fires one humorous situation after another into the auditorium, the punchlines pile up on top of each other at times because there is no longer any space. The completely overwhelmed veteran trying to cope with a loud party in his pajamas. The mid-ager who becomes the plaything of the kneading bath attendant in a Turkish hamam. The wellness-needy husband who, instead of being attended to by the young and petite masseuse in the Thai massage booth, becomes a victim of the elephantine and aggressive Tom. Once again, it is Jäger's triumvirate of talents—facial expressions, gestures, and language—that vividly describes the stories and oh-so-fictional experiences of the goalkeeper, making one have to be careful not to collapse from laughter in their seat, although there were already some early signs of hyperventilation audible in the audience here and there. A magnificent Edi Jäger … a literally breathtaking evening, and one can rightly claim that no audience has collectively laughed so hard before. Quod erat demonstrandum! (KUNSTBOX.AT Review, Markus Walch, 28.02.2022) Dear Edi Jäger! … I want to thank you immensely for this incredibly funny, sooooo true, and wonderfully carefree evening. The five of us found ourselves in every sentence. We laughed non-stop ... and it felt so good. Thank you once again!!!! .... (Audience member) It was a grandly funny evening. There was an incredible amount of positive feedback. (Organizer Chiemsee)
