Maria Clara Groppler - Mermaid

Maria Clara Groppler is undoubtedly the most versatile and exciting female stand-up comedian in the German comedy scene. Behind the dangerous Madonna smile lies a talented comedian with coarse yet charming humor. After the great success of her first live program "Jungfrau" (Virgin), Maria Clara Groppler proudly presents her second program: "Mehrjungfrau" (Mermaid). The only logical successor!

In this program, Maria will address the issues faced by the modern mermaid in the 21st century:
- "Which bathroom do you actually go to? On one hand, you're a woman, but on the other hand... well, there's that penis."
- "Is it okay for a mermaid to eat sushi, or does that count as cannibalism?"
- "And if you catch something – do you go to the veterinarian or the gynecologist?"

Beyond these considerations, Maria Clara Groppler also focuses on more serious topics. For example: Where are the mermaids in politics? Where are Ariel Merkel or Olaf Scholle?

For too long, the topic of "mermaids" has been silenced in society. With her new program, Maria Clara Groppler aims to break the silence and humorously yet critically shed light on the taboo.
