Petting a thick, soft bumblebee would be something! Max Raabe & Palast Orchester have musically fulfilled this wish with their new concert program for 2025, “Petting Bumblebees”!
Max Raabe loves animals. In his song “Bumblebee,” he dreams himself into their world, wanting to put cookies into kangaroos' pouches or, at certain spots, chop down trees with beavers. His thoughts also revolve around the effects of autocorrect (“Starting over again”), riding a bike, or - as we know - the perfect moment that gets missed.
