Youth Jazz Orchestra Lower Austria

It all started with the idea of initiating a nationwide youth jazz orchestra. Since then, a decade and a half has passed, and the young ensemble has established itself as a fixed presence in the local music scene. With great enthusiasm, professional skill, and an authentic big band sound, the approximately 20 musicians captivate audiences on the stages of significant jazz clubs and open-air festivals both domestically and abroad. The history of the Youth Jazz Orchestra of Lower Austria has always been inextricably linked to Andreas Pranzl. Before the long-time leader and conductor of the big band steps down from his positions at the end of the year, we want to celebrate him appropriately.
