Almost half a century has passed since Helmut Tschellnig and his Schüttelfrost Blues Band first made a significant impact on stage. In a classic rock formation, the band transitioned from a house occupation soundtrack to a pop-o-drome victory, becoming a legend. With electric guitar, blues harp, and German lyrics from the very beginning, the guys brushed life against the grain.

Since then, the world has turned a bit further, and companions from the early days are now playing a floor higher. Death is always the victor, as stated in the official Schüttelfrost anthem.

One could easily become sentimental now. But it really isn’t worth it. Because the band has outgrown its classics and is now charging ahead with still-frontman Helmut Tschellnig and a pack of new songs in tow, ready to take the stage. It’s going to be loud. And that’s a good thing.
