Hungarian composer, lyricist, and singer.
The repertoire consists of modern Dixie-pop crossover songs, written and sung by the two-time Austrian Music Award-winning artist, who toured Europe with Hungarian Dixieland bands at the age of 17 (Dresden Jazz Fest, Birdland Vienna, Porgy and Bess…).
Susan Blake was a participant in the ESC in Hungary, achieved second place in the Hungarian television talent show "Voice of the Year," and studied jazz singing at the Vienna Conservatory. She plays piano, organ, cimbalom, and trombone. Her music reflects her fiery temperament, blending cheerful Dixieland rhythms, Hungarian Gypsy influences, and contemporary popular music, inviting everyone to dance. (Press release)
