Carnival Parade Lassnitzhöhe

On February 15th, Laßnitzhöhe will be colorful, loud, and cheerful: The traditional carnival parade begins at 1:00 PM at the medical center and ends at the main square. Numerous groups will parade through the streets in imaginative costumes, accompanied by festively decorated floats, music, and good vibes. Those who look closely will discover many regional references: from Styrian traditions to the creative ideas of local associations. The residents of the community celebrate with visible enthusiasm, a vibrant sign of a lived community in the heart of Styria. Registration for groups/floats is possible. A special highlight is the award for the most original group. Whether funny, cheeky, or particularly detail-oriented, here the idea and its implementation count. Immediately after the parade, the town center will transform into a large open-air party. A DJ will create a lively atmosphere, with dancing and carefree celebration lasting into the evening hours. The Graz experience region showcases its sociable side at this event – open, creative, and with a wink.
