The magic of Advent on Bayrhamerplatz
Just like in the old days, the small but charming Christmas market on Bayrhamerplatz in Hallein's historic old town centre is a real treat.
The scent of gingerbread greets us as we visit the lovingly decorated huts and listen to the devotional melodies of the regional choirs. Traditional handicrafts, knitwear, wooden products, Christmas decorations and much more are on sale. Mulled wine and punch made to local recipes as well as Christmas baking and delicacies from the region ensure that a visit to the Advent market is also a culinary feast. Opening hours:
Friday 14.00 to 20.00 hrs,
Saturday 10.00 to 20.00,
Sunday 11.00 to 20.00
