Being a Woman – Open Studio for Women

Every Monday from 6 to 7:30 PM, a women's group titled "Being a Woman – Open Studio for Women" takes place for pottery (not on the wheel, but hand-built using the coiling technique, glazing) and painting (gouache, earth pigments, watercolor, watercolors). The KUSS studio offers a space for inspiration, creativity, and joy of creation in a Mediterranean atmosphere. "KUSS – Art for Meaning & Social Engagement stands for meaningful, handcrafted, collaborative activities in small groups. Art promotes expression, perception, concentration, and self-efficacy," says Nina Pommer, who studied communication science, Italian, and art therapy. She works as an art therapist in a clinic and has established the art workshops Sonnen.atelier and Home in Art as an integration project at the Zimt Meeting Center since 2018. In the studio, you can also find art by Nina Pommer: Mediterranean paintings on canvas in gouache/egg tempera/charcoal, female nudes, clay sculptures, the poetry collection "essenz leben," nature photographs, and watercolor postcards.
