Sonnen.atelier – Art Workshop for Children

Every Friday from 3 to 4:30 PM, the Sonnen.atelier – Art Workshop for Children (ages 5 to 12) takes place, focusing on pottery, painting, and drawing. The course fee includes all materials, and interested participants can register weekly. The KUSS Atelier offers a space for inspiration, creativity, and joy of creation in a Mediterranean atmosphere. "KUSS – Art for Meaning & Social Engagement stands for meaningful, handcrafted, collaborative activities in small groups. Art promotes expression, perception, concentration, and self-efficacy," says Nina Pommer, who studied communication science, Italian, and art therapy. She works as an art therapist in a clinic and has established the art workshops Sonnen.atelier and Home in Art as an integration project at the Zimt Meeting Center since 2018. In the atelier, you can also find art by Nina Pommer: Mediterranean paintings on canvas in gouache/egg tempera/charcoal, female nudes, clay sculptures, the poetry collection "essenz leben," nature photographs, and watercolor postcards.
