In the year 1298, the Church of St. Margarethen am Anger in the market town of Hall was mentioned for the first time. However, the church, often referred to as the "Church under the Seven Lindens," had existed for a longer time. Around 1280, St. Margarethen am Anger became the site for court proceedings and the location for the election of the mayor. Due to its significance for civic life, the Margarethen Chapel became a symbol for the coat of arms granted to the town of Hall. You can visit the chapel at any time without prior registration.
