Animal Mothers - Mother's Day Special

Mothers have a tough time... that much is clear! Or is that not the case at all?
We want to dedicate this exciting tour on Mother's Day to all animal mothers and take a closer look at their role in raising young. For example, there are single kangaroo mothers who carry their young in their pouch for a whole nine months, white-faced saki mothers who leave the carrying of their offspring to the males, and meerkat mothers who receive active support from the whole family. In ostriches, females and males take turns incubating the eggs, while female nandus prefer to leave the raising of their babies entirely to the males. The animal kingdom showcases a wide variety of task distributions and parenting models. Join us and discover interesting, funny, and curious stories about the diverse roles of animal mothers.
