For the 23rd time, the Crossing Europe Film Festival brings new voices and established figures of contemporary European cinema to Linz. The audience has the opportunity to immerse themselves in various life worlds across Europe through numerous feature films, documentaries, and short films. The Local Artists program impressively showcases the creativity, ambition, and diversity of film production related to Upper Austria. Filmmaker Bernhard Sallmann, born in Linz and living in Berlin, offers insights into his current documentary feature film "DAS KINO," which approaches the promising realm of the big screen from eleven different perspectives.
