Guided hike: Historical mining in Gastein & Rauris

Crossing the ridge that separates Pongau and Pinzgau leads to an elevation of 2,226 meters. After descending to the end of the Rauris Valley, there is plenty of time to stop at a cozy hut. We will hike through the natural gem "Rauriser Urwald," and a minibus will take the hiking group back to Bad Gastein in about 1 hour from the Lenzanger parking lot (1,550 m).

Meeting point: 7:30 AM at Bad Gastein train station.
Afterwards, a taxi ride to Nassfeld/Sportgastein, where the hike will also start.
Duration: 10 hours (of which at least 6 hours are pure walking time)
Elevation: Ascent: 650 m / Descent: 650 m

Costs:
The guided hike is free with the Gastein Card; the price without the Gastein Card is €5.00.
Bus and transfer costs (approximately €50.00 - cash payment only) and refreshments are to be paid separately.
Good equipment and mountain/hiking shoes are absolutely necessary.
