The over 130-year-old cogwheel steam locomotives are among the oldest still operational cogwheel steam locomotives in the world. As fewer companies possess the necessary expertise, almost all repairs are carried out in the workshop in St. Wolfgang. A preparation time of four hours is required for the nostalgic ride. In total, 500 kilograms of high-quality coal and 3,000 liters of water are needed for a round trip in the nostalgic trains.
