Humor in the Herb Garden of Söchau

Amidst the gentle hills of the Thermal and Volcanic Region, the idyllic herb garden of Söchau invites you to a special cultural moment: "Humor in the Herb Garden" – a cheerful reading in the open air, where laughter, lightness, and literary enjoyment go hand in hand.

On this evening, the members of the Söchau Cultural Construction Site will present a selection of amusing, partly self-written texts and sketches. With plenty of wordplay and a keen sense for everyday observations, they will take the audience on a journey through stories that bring smiles and warm the soul.

The group will be accompanied by the popular author Wolfgang Schober, whose charming personality and subtle humor add extra highlights to the event.

The lovingly maintained herb garden lends a unique atmosphere to the evening – a blend of nature, humor, and community that you can feel as soon as you arrive.

Should the weather not cooperate, the event will be rescheduled to Friday, August 7, 2025, at 7:30 PM.

Admission is free, and voluntary donations support the work of the cultural initiative.
