International Museum Day at the Open-Air Museum Ensemble Gerersdorf

Museum Day was established in 1978 by the International Council of Museums (ICOM) to raise public awareness of the role that museums play in societal development. Since then, the annual Museum Day has highlighted the significant societal importance and thematic diversity of museums around the world. Are you familiar with the museums/cultural sites in the southern part of the country?

This Sunday is a great opportunity to visit the museums/cultural sites in the three southern districts in your immediate area and discover many interesting treasures and unique features. As in previous years, we want to celebrate International Museum Day together again and embark on a joint start to the new museum season. We offer an insight into our museum world with a free guided tour at 2 PM. Admission is by donation!
