Meeting point at the parking lot of the Donnerkogelbahn. Ascend by cable car, followed by a guided hike over the Riedlkar to the Zwieselalm hut. The rustic hut invites you to take a break, just as the former Austrian Empress Elisabeth, known as Sisi, did here. Together with her cook (who, unlike the athletic, young empress, had to be carried up from the village), she spent a lovely time in this wonderful area, which surely has many stories to tell. Exclusive insights - only as part of this tour - into the former imperial sleeping chamber! From the hut, we will head to the viewpoint, where you can see the magnificent Dachstein glacier and the monument for Emperor Franz Joseph I, erected to commemorate his 40-year reign.
