In 1828, Archduke Johann had the hut built. Starting from Bad Hofgastein, we take a taxi to the Rastötzenalm. Upon arrival, the hiking trail leads over lush alpine meadows to the summit at 2,467 m. A magnificent panoramic view of the surrounding mountains rewards the sweat of the ascent. The descent is back to the basin of the Rastötzenalm and then continues to Bad Hofgastein.
Transfer: Taxi to the Rastötzenalm and back (€6.00 per person and trip)
Participation in the guided hikes is free with the Gastein Card! Bus and taxi transfer costs, cable car rides, and refreshments are to be paid separately.
Good equipment and mountain/hiking shoes are absolutely necessary!
Registration: Spa & Tourism Association Bad Hofgastein by Monday at 4:00 PM.
