Rupertifest with traditional Almabtrieb as part of the Flachauer Heimatspuren!

The Rupertifest in Flachau is a new farmers' autumn event that brings the traditions and culture of the region to life. A special highlight is the demonstration of a traditional Almabtrieb, where festively decorated animals and floats are presented by the Flachau farming community – a colorful spectacle that celebrates rural culture. A farmers' market with craft demonstrations and floats themed around hunting provides insights into rural life. Live music offers entertainment, while a children's program and cozy gatherings round off the festival for the whole family. The Rupertifest combines tradition, sociability, and autumn magic into a unique experience.

From 10:00 AM: Traditional farmers' market with craft demonstrations
At 11:00 AM: Festive procession of the Stiegl beer wagon and traditional tapping of the beer to open the festival
From 12:00 PM: Presentation of a traditional Almabtrieb with festively decorated cows, horses, and small animals, showcasing rural life, decorated floats, and hunting wagons.
From 2:00 PM: Rupert & Ruperta celebrate their name day
For all attendees named Rupert or Ruperta, there will be a name day surprise.

Delicious food and entertainment are provided in the heated tent with regional and local folk music, as is customary here.

Children's program: Pony rides, petting zoo, braiding hairstyles with Christina & team.

Air rifle shooting range, auction of the hunting lodge Maypole, entertainment games.
